Drywall General Superintendent

A well-established interior specialty contractor with a strong Southeast footprint is hiring a Interior General Superintendent for its Savannah, GA area office. The company manages a growing portfolio of healthcare, multifamily, and hospitality projects within a regional radius. This is a field-based leadership role overseeing multiple active projects at once, with one company-grade superintendent already on staff and an 18-story hotel breaking ground this fall. • Anticipated $85,000–$105,000, based on experience
• Performance-based bonus — historically significant; varies with project and company performance
• Monthly vehicle allowance ($600–$800)

Overview:

• Oversee multiple active commercial construction projects at once: check in on subcontractor crews, verify material availability, monitor quality, and escalate issues
• Take dedicated ownership of large-scale projects as needed
• Attend project meetings, coordinate with project managers, and support scheduling and manpower tracking
• Hold finish quality on high-end commercial interior work before it reaches the owner
• Field-based with periodic visits to the Savannah warehouse
• Report directly to the regional office manager

Preferred Skills and Experience:

• 5–7 years of commercial metal framing and drywall superintendent experience — required
• Cold-form metal framing and non-structural metal framing background — required
• Non-union commercial construction; experience managing piecework subcontractor crews — required
• Healthcare, multifamily, or hospitality project experience
• Bilingual English/Spanish a significant plus
• Strong quality control instincts on high-end commercial interior finish work
